Mathias Thin Plate Dies are flexible, chemically etched, and CNC machined tools typically utilized for more complex, tight tolerance applications. We developed tooling that was originally manufactured for rotary cutting and perfected it for use in flatbed die cutting applications to help you maximize your die cutting efficiencies and finished part quality.
Much like our Laser Steel Rule Dies, we engineer our Thin Plate Dies for every application. The etching and machining process allow us to create precision tools with different blade heights and bevel geometries to cut more complex part designs than can be accomplished using Steel Rule Dies. Finished thickness of the die can be matched to your press and requirements.
